NSR has successfully supplied caustic soda flakes with min 98% purity to many oilfields. Caustic soda is the common name for sodium hydroxide whose chemical formula is NaOH and is extensively used in food and other industries. In drilling fluid, it is added to most water-base muds to increase and maintain pH and alkalinity.

NSR is ready to supply caustic soda in any packaging as per the clients’ requirements, however, the most regular ones include 25 kg sacks and 25 kg cans, as shown in the pictures. In terms of delivery time, we are absolutely competitive and reliable.

As the name suggests, it is very caustic and releases enormous amounts of heat when dissolved in water. That is why it is considered as a hazardous material which demands proper training and PPE prior to handling.
